I retired from 33 wonderful years of teaching high school students about art and now I’m cultivating a renewed interest in printmaking. I’ve been making linocut relief prints since early in the pandemic. It’s a slow process for me but I have prints I’d like to see get out into the world and ideas for more. The color reduction process especially interests me.
I’m also a guy who likes to draw with ink and watercolors and I have a sketchbook habit. I live in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. There are lots of interesting things to draw here. I’ve drawn some of them. Some are making their way into my relief prints.
