happy little rain cloud

Finally back to printmaking. The past few months have been full of traveling and sewing. Both of those things have been good to do. Camped and hiked at Big Bend Natl. Park. That is a pretty special place. I hadn’t been there for 33 years. I found a watercolor of the Chisos Basin among old drawings just this week that I did in 1990.

It’s good to get back to working in my drawing room. I just finished printing an edition of 9 “happy little rain clouds.” I feel as if I’ve been channeling Bob Ross or something. I like rain and I like clouds so I made a print of a rain cloud. It’s a cartoon sort of image I’ve drawn in my sketchbooks many times. It was a fun image to make into a print. A good image to get back to work with.
